How to annotate it
Editorial method: record who is speaking, what is asserted and which independent observation could support or contradict it. Avoid reproducing long passages when a concise reference will do.
Resolve source conflicts carefully
The park homepage still uses pre-release language, while the reviewed Steam release page shows 26 October 2026. Use the current product listing for release metadata, and retain the website wording as an observed narrative artifact. Do not replace current Hooked / Gamincat, Inc. credits with older KMW text.
Does the KMW name change the current release credits?
No conclusion about real-world ownership follows from the fictional news voice. Keep three records separate: KMW appears in the narrative site and older standalone listing; the reviewed full-game listing credits Hooked and Gamincat, Inc.; the news page speaks about Sarah and Josh without independently establishing their real identities. When citing a news claim, name the page as the speaker. When citing publisher or release metadata, use the product page. This prevents a lore discussion from becoming an unsupported company-history claim.
